Ägypten strebt Top-Spot im Luxus-Yachttourismus an: Neue Marinas & Global Hub

Egypt will unveil its ambitious maritime projects at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, showcasing the unique diversity that sets the country apart in the yachting world. H.E.

Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, and H.E. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, will present how the country is positioning itself as one of the world’s most exciting destinations for luxury yachting, marina investment, and nautical tourism.

As a gateway to the world’s yachting circuits, Egypt offers unrivaled connectivity for maritime travelers. Modern marinas in Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, and El Gouna feature state-of-the-art berths, full-service maintenance, 24/7 security, and VIP hospitality — all at costs more competitive than traditional Mediterranean or Caribbean ports.

“We invite yachting and global tourism partners to experience Egypt ’s unmatched diversity, where timeless civilization meets infinite blue horizons,” H.E. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities.

  • Egypt positions itself as a strategic hub for luxury yachting, blending Red Sea experiences with the Suez Canal’s global gateway.
  • Egypt’s government presents plans to rival top Mediterranean ports with modern marinas, competitive services, and international partnerships.

Egypt promises unique experiences that few destinations can match. Yacht owners and their guests can cruise the Red Sea, dive among protected coral reefs, or sail at sunrise before flying privately to explore the temples of Luxor and Aswan. Along the Nile, boutique yachts and dahabiyas combine river journeys with intimate access to Egypt’s cultural treasures, creating a seamless blend of sea and civilization.

Looking ahead, Egypt is preparing to host regattas, rallies, and maritime festivals while pursuing a clear sustainability strategy to protect its fragile marine ecosystems. With eco-responsible policies, strong government incentives, and its strategic position at the crossroads of Europe, Africa, and Asia — as well as direct access via the Suez Canal.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Monaco Yacht Show, where Egypt will unveil its splendid treasures and reimagine nautical tourism for a new era.
